Sports Massage
Sports massage forms the basis of my treatments, I use various techniques to manipulate soft tissue with the goal of restoring optimal muscle length and function. Improved circulation, enhanced recovery, increased range of motion and reduced pain are just some of the benefits of sports massage. It is essentially a much deeper, targeted form of traditional massage with an emphasis on myofascial release techniques.
Spinal Manipulation
Spinal manipulation is a specialized manual therapy technique that involves applying controlled force to specific spinal segments. This approach aims to enhance joint range of motion, alleviate pain, and improve mobility in areas with restrictions. By targeting the spinal column and surrounding musculature, spinal manipulation can reduce stiffness, modulate muscle activity, and alter neuronal responses, ultimately leading to improved pain perception and enhanced overall movement.


Dry Needling
Advanced medical acupuncture and dry needling, a technique used to treat muscle pain and stiffness. Thin, acupuncture needles are inserted into specific trigger points within muscle tissue. The needle elicits a response within the central nervous system, triggering muscle relaxation, improved blood flow and reduced pain responses. When used as part of a wider treatment plan, dry needling is very effective at treating musculoskeletal pain.
Personal Training
For benefits of treatment to be sustained, individual exercises programmes are prescribed with the goal of strengthening any identified weaknesses. This helps to improve posture in daily life, adopt correct body mechanics during movement, and maximise force production. This ultimately lowers injury risk and improves function and performance. I also offer this service for the goal of general well-being and lifestyle goals.
